About “Dialogi Polityczne”

Established by the students in 2003, “Dialogi Polityczne” (Political Dialogues) is an academic journal published at Nicolaus Copernicus University under the auspices of its academics. We would like to give special acknowledgments to Professor Marek Szulakiewicz who encouraged the journal in its activity and without whom it would probably have never been established.

The articles published in “Dialogi Polityczne” are the result of reflection on broadly understood political matter. The journal is meant to act as a forum for exchanging ideas among the people who are not unfamiliar with the reflection on the political issues and would like to share their views with others.

With the translation of Leo Strauss’ essay “What is Liberal Education” (issue No.7) we have initiated the publication of classical texts form the above-mentioned fields that have not yet been published in Poland.

The change of the formula provides more opportunities for cooperation with “Dialogi Polityczne”. Therefore, we cordially invite you to participate in the creation of “Dialogi Polityczne” by sending articles and/or translations (more information – Contribution). We hope that this journal will fulfil your expectations.
